Job Description

Cart Girl   When I tell people that I was a cart girl over the summer, people are often envious of the job title. They imagine being a cart girl as the ideal summer job because you can enjoy the weather, serve drinks easily, and drive a cart around. From my experience, I can confirm that this job is a fun summer job, but it requires more effort than I expected.   A cart girl is someone who provides snacks and drinks to golfers while they stroll the course . We deliver the items to the golfers in a larger-than-average golf cart which displays some of the items we sell. The standard salary is low, but cart girls can make a lot of money through generous tips. As a result, we are often near the happy and loud golfers with a lot of spare cash. When the weather is sunny, you see more of us around, but when the weather is poor, we help the guest-services employees by taking care of the carts, the ball machine, and any other tasks.       S...

Allison Kim Describe where you come from: I am from Bellevue, Washington and grew up in a suburban neighborhood. I have lived there for over 15 years with my parents and brother.   Tell me where you're going:             After college, I plan to become an accountant and work in advisory. I will work at one of the Big Four firms because I like the people I met during my recruitment period, their organizational culture, and job stability they provide.
